How to apply?
Foreign visitors who come to China for attendance of the CPhI China 2017 can apply for the PORT VISA now. With the PORT VISA NOTIFICATION, you will be able to get the port visa at Shanghai Port Division of Shanghai - Exit Entry Administration Bureau upon your arrival at Shanghai Pudong Airport / Hongqiao International Airport.
Citizens of the following countries cannot apply for the Port Visa: Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afganistan, Nigeria, Turkey, Syria, Mali, Ghana.
Please note: The Port Visa is valid for 1 month from the date of issue.
To apply for the port visa, follow these steps:
Download and fill in the Application Form (type writen in the sheet) and submit together with the scanned copy of your passport/applicant's passport (only JPG), to email@example.com.
The information will be checked and submitted to the Exit-Entry Administration of Shanghai Public Security Bureau. You will receive your response usually within 5 working days. Once the appllication is approvedd, the Bureau will issue the PORT VISA NOTIFICATION and inform the organizer to forward it to the foreign national applicant via email or fax,
When you arrive at the ports, you will be required to fill in Port Visa application form on the counter and provide:
- Approved Port Visa Notification
- 1 x of colour photo (2 inches, full face, withouth any hat or cap on the head, photography needs to be taken within the last 6 months)
- visa charges, (in cash, charges are based on the mutual agreements signed between countries, please ask the onsite staff)
