What do you need to know for your trip?

Effective February 16th 2022, the Philadelphia Department of Public Health has lifted the measures that require proof of COVID-19 vaccination to enter establishments that serve food or beverages.
This means that you no longer have to show proof of vaccination. The mask mandate remains in place.

As of today (02/17/2022), an individual is considered fully vaccinated if they have the following doses of any FDA-approved and World Health Organization vaccines:

1. Pfizer (PFR) or Moderna (MOD) need 2 doses completed, the second dose has to be taken at least 2 weeks prior to the event.
2. Johnson & Johnson (JSN) needs only 1 dose, also taken at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

It is not required to show a negative PCR or swab test to enter the event.

Yes, face masks are mandatory in the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

While there's no specific type of face mask required, we recommend a, N95 or a KN95 (FFP2) mask. Wear the mask over your nose and mouth and make sure it fits well.

Face shields may be worn in addition to a mask that meets the CDC’s recommendations, but face shields may not be worn instead of a mask.

The U.S. does not work with a digital vaccination badge (QR code). For internationals, it is important to have your proof of vaccination with you at all times, digital or preferably printed out.

For most domestic travel, passengers are not required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. However, certain travel destinations, such as Hawaii, may require additional documentation. Review all relevant state and local guidance of your destination prior to travel here.

All air passengers coming to the United States, including U.S. citizens and fully vaccinated people, are required to have a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 24 hours before travel, or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in the past 3 months before they board a flight to the United States.

If you had COVID-19 in the past 3 months, follow all requirements and recommendations for fully vaccinated travelers, with adjustments:

        - You can show proof of recovery from COVID-19 instead of a negative test result before boarding an international flight to the United States.

        - You do NOT need to be tested 3-5 days after travel to the United States from international locations unless you have symptoms of COVID-19.

The CDC does not require travelers, both international and domestic, to quarantine. However, the CDC recommends that unvaccinated travellers self-quarantine after travel for 7 days with a negative test and for 10 days if they don’t get tested.
