Registration

Where can I pick up my badge?

Badges have been sent to you electronically when you registered for the event. If you forgot to bring your ebadge, you can collect your badge from one of the registration areas (Galleria, Torhaus, Portalhaus or Hall 3 (by City)). It is not necessary to register again.

What is the cost for a pass to CPhI Worldwide?

Registration for CPhI Worldwide gives access to CPhI and all co-located exhibitions. Each pass is valid for the full 3-day event. For details on packages and prices available, consult this page: https://www.cphi.com/europe/visit/pricing-and-packages

I want to attend the event but forgot to register. Can I still get a ticket?

Registration is open online and onsite during the event. For quick access, we advice you to register online before the event, print your badge and bring it with you. Onsite, registration areas are located at Galleria, Torhaus, Portalhaus and Hall 3 (by City Entrance).

I am a member of the press. Can I get a press pass to CPhI Worldwide?

Pre-show, you can apply for a press pass via our press registration. Onsite, you can apply for a press pass at one of the registration areas (Galleria, Torhaus, Portalhaus and Hall 3 (by City)). More information for press can be found here!

Travel & Stay

How can I get to the venue?

By car:
etting to Messe Frankfurt is possible by taking the motorway or directly through the city of Frankfurt. Please follow the overhead signs leading to ‚Messe Frankfurt‘. The signs will guide you to the fairgrounds on the shortest route. The "Rebstock" multi-storey car park offers sufficient parking during large trade fairs. A free shuttle service is available to take you to the exhibition grounds. More information is available on the corresponding fair homepage.

By public transportation (U-bahn/S-bahn):
The underground station below the Central Station provides fast direct access to the exhibition grounds with the S-Bahn suburban trains and U-Bahn underground trains.
From Frankfurt Central Station you can get to the exhibition grounds:

  • with the U-Bahn underground line 4 (in the direction of Bockenheimer Warte) one stop to "Festhalle/Messe" and from there to the City Entrance.
  • with the S-Bahn suburban train S3 (in the direction of Bad Soden), S4 (in the direction of Kronberg), S5 (in the direction of Bad Homburg/Friedrichsdorf) or S6 (in the direction of Friedberg/Groß Karben) to the second stop, the S-Bahn station "Messe", then go to the "Torhaus" entrance.
  • with tram lines 16 and 17. You can reach the tram stop by going out the main exit of Frankfurt Central Station and crossing the station forecourt. The destination, "Festhalle/Messe" (City Entrance) is the third stop.
  • on foot in ten minutes along Düsseldorfer Strasse via Platz der Republik and Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage. The pyramidal top of the Messeturm tower makes it easy to find your way. The City Entrance through which you will be entering the exhibition grounds is just a few steps away.

By taxi:
All taxis will drop you off at the Galleria entrance level 1.

What is the age limit to attend the event?

As CPhI Worldwide is a trade event, no one under 18 years will be allowed to enter the exhibiton. There are no child care facilites onsite.

What does each zone/vertical mean? And where is what in the halls?

CPhI: from APIs to intermediates and excipients, CPhI is your ingredient to success
ICSE: from R&D to manufacturing, source cost-effective contract services at ICSE
P-MEC: from pharma machinery to lab apparatus, track down your equipment at P-MEC
FDF: from powders and pills to capsules and creams, find your finished formulations at FDF
BioProduction: fom bioprocessing to biomanufacturing, locate all things large molecule at BioProduction

How do I navigate inside the event? How do I know what exit to take for my destination?

There will be signage directing you to the different halls and levels within the venue, the metro stations and taxi and airport shuttle stations. Note: most directional singage is above eye level, remember to look up when you're unsure.

Facilities

Will there be wireless internet access at the event?

There will be free WiFi available at CPhI WW accessible by smartphone, tablet or laptop. There is no password needed to login. The free WiFi is only for simple internet browsing, checking of emails etc. and not for downloading heavy files or presentations.

Will there be a cloakroom facility at the event?

Cloakrooms will be available at each entrance at €2,- per item

Where is the VIP lounge?

There is one large VIP Lounge in the Galleria between hall 8 and 9. There are two other VIP Lounges located in hall 4.1 (stand 41G40) and in hall 12.0 (stand 120F39).

Where can I report a theft?

There is a police station at Frankfurt Messe. It is located at the Operations Security Centre (O.S.C.) at the back of hall 4.0 and only open during event opening hours.

Where are the toilets?

There are toilets in every exhibition hall and in some of the walkways between the halls. Signage in the venue directs you to the toilets closest to you, or consult the floorplan in the event guide.
