The CPHI Middle East Start-Up Programme:

In keeping with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 which identifies the proliferation and success of small and medium businesses as a vital element of Saudi Arabia’s economic objectives of job creation, technological innovation and the boosting of exports, CPHI Middle East Start-Up Market is looking for the next generation of innovators within the pharmaceutical supply chain.

We welcome applicants from KSA, the Middle East and further afield.

Is your company eligible?

Eligible candidates should follow criteria below:

Start-Up companies should not apply if they have been a full paid exhibitor at any point before to any CPHI show
Submissions should be in English
2-50 full time employees
1-10 years of trading – less than ten years of direct sales
No minimum capital requirement
Significant further growth ambition and potential
Classifies themselves as a Start-Up
Has a product which is either in proof of concept, prototype or commercialised stage
Can commit to attending CPHI Middle East in person

For over 25 years CPHI has been the catalyst of health innovations worldwide and for many pharmaceutical companies our event has been an important milestone in the calendar to meet with new innovations, network and continue to grow in worldwide visibility.

Regulations

Please note applicants should also comply with the following regulations:

Applicants should comply with the 2022 Anti-Concealment Law and Anti-Fronting Law, which prohibits foreign entities to illegally operate economic activities in the KSA by having a facade of being wholly owned by Saudi Nationals, while in realtiy the beneficiaries are non Saudi. With reference to the Anti-Concealment Law, concealment is defined as "an agreement or arrangement under which a person enables another non-Saudi person to practice an Economic Activity in KSA, not licensed to practice the same using the licence or approval issued for the concealer."
