FAQs
Answers to some of the most common queries
Is CPHI & PMEC India being split into two separate venues?

Yes, CPHI & PMEC India is evolving into one super event divided over two venues to specialise in pharma ingredients and machinery. Though we are operating in two spaces simultaneously, we are still a united event at the heart of pharma.

CPHI India will take place from 23–25 November 2026 at IICC, Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi.

PMEC India will be held from 24–26 November 2026 at IEML, Greater Noida.

What is the reason for hosting the event in two separate venues?

As the leading pharma event in the region, CPHI & PMEC India connects the very best minds in our industry with the innovators and decision makers redefining our future, but the success of this event means it has outgrown the largest venue available to host us.

We've also consistently received valuable feedback from the industry on how to enhance the overall experience and increase participation value.

Some of the key concerns raised by exhibitors include:

  • Limited flexibility in stand selection
  • The event being too large to manage effectively within a three-day format
  • Difficulty conducting quality meetings due to heavy footfall
  • Missed business opportunities caused by scale and congestion

The USP of the event has always been having the entire value chain under one roof. Won’t splitting the event dilute its identity?

Not at all. CPHI & PMEC India continues to represent the entire pharmaceutical value chain. In fact, for the 2026 edition, there will be a two-day overlap to allow visitors to attend both venues and maximize value.

The scale that CPHI & PMEC India has reached makes it challenging to host the entire event at a single venue in India. Splitting into two focused locations allows for:

Better visitor experience with more space and improved navigation

Tailored engagement based on distinct buyer profiles for CPHI and PMEC

Higher quality meetings without the overwhelming rush

An extended experience, addressing the industry's long-standing request for more time beyond the current three-day format

This strategic move ensures that exhibitors and visitors get the best return on their time and efforts, while still maintaining the identity and strength of the unified platform.

With both venues being far apart, how will it be practical for attendees to visit both events?

The expanded four-day format across both venues provides exhibitors and attendees with an extended window for valuable business conversations, maximizing networking opportunities and meaningful interactions.

For attendees who do wish to explore both events, we will ensure seamless connectivity by providing regular shuttle services between the two venues across the overlapping days. This will help facilitate smooth movement and maximize the experience for cross-over visitors.

I am interested in booking a stand at both events. How can I proceed?

We generally do not recommend booking stands at both venues, unless you represent two distinct group companies with separate business profiles that align with the respective focus areas of CPHI and PMEC.

If the same exhibit is showcased at both locations, it may dilute its impact. Each event will have clear positioning and communication around exhibitor categories and visitor expectations, helping attendees navigate based on their specific interests.

To ensure maximum ROI and meaningful engagement, we strongly encourage you to select the venue that best aligns with your core business activity and target audience.

Why were IICC and IEML selected as venues instead of Pragati Maidan or other venues?

After evaluating multiple scenarios and consulting with various venue authorities, we finalized IICC (Yashobhoomi) and IEML as the venues for CPHI & PMEC India. These modern, purpose-built facilities meet the high standards required for an event of this scale and stature.

CPHI India's Move to Yashobhoomi (2026)

Key Benefits:

  • State-of-the-art convention centre with world-class infrastructure
  • Superior connectivity via metro, airport, and road networks
  • Enhanced visitor experience with modern amenities
  • Future-ready facilities for exhibition growth
  • Multiple accommodation options nearby are available

PMEC India at IEML Greater Noida (2026)

Venue Advantages:

  • Specialized facilities for heavy machinery exhibitions
  • Proven track record for industrial shows
  • Improved logistics infrastructure and efficient layout
  • Improving connectivity with upcoming Noida International Airport
  • Established ecosystem with familiar amenities for returning exhibitors

Why is CPHI planned at IICC, Dwarka and PMEC at IEML Greater Noida and not the other way round?

While both IICC and IEML are purpose-built exhibition venues, the decision is based on space availability and event scale.

PMEC is significantly larger in terms of volume compared to CPHI. Currently, IICC has only two operational halls, which are suitable for accommodating CPHI but not sufficient for PMEC’s scale. Hence, CPHI is scheduled at IICC, Dwarka, and PMEC at IEML, Greater Noida, which offers the required space and infrastructure for the larger format.

Is there a possibility of moving back to Mumbai?

No, currently there are no venues in Mumbai that can accommodate the event. The scale and infrastructure requirements of both events exceed the capacity of existing venues in the city.

What is the rebooking process for exhibitors?

Rebooking will be facilitated through our Online Booking Platform. Fresh floor plans will be created for both events, with clearly defined zones to ensure better alignment with exhibitor categories.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to select their own stands directly via the platform and finalize contracts digitally, making the process more transparent, efficient, and user-friendly.

How will you ensure that visitors attend both locations?

We recognize the interconnected nature of the pharmaceutical industry and have   implemented a strategic approach to support visitor engagement at both locations.

Clear zoning at each venue helps visitors efficiently plan their visits.

Regular shuttle services during overlapping days ensure seamless connectivity between venues.

Through comprehensive pre-event communication, we'll guide attendees on exhibitor categories at each location, helping them maximize opportunities across both events.

The four-day format provides extended time for exploring both venues, allowing visitors to engage effectively with the complete pharmaceutical supply chain.

To guide visitors effectively, we will ensure clear communication about the focus of each event and the exhibitor categories at each venue. For those interested in attending both, we will provide regular shuttle services between the venues during the overlapping days to ensure easy access and convenience.

Will there be any logistical support (e.g., shuttle services) for exhibitors and visitors traveling between venues?

Yes, we will provide multiple shuttle services at regular intervals to facilitate smooth travel between the two venues for both exhibitors and visitors. This will ensure convenient connectivity during the overlapping days of the event.

How will the event layout and segmentation help improve networking and business opportunities?

The event layout will be redesigned with clearly defined zones to enhance focus and ease of navigation.

CPHI India will feature zones for APIs, formulations, excipients, natural extracts, and fine chemicals.

PMEC India will include zones for pharmaceutical and packaging machinery, packaging materials, lab and analytical equipment, and cleanroom technologies.

With the distinct visitor profiles for each event, this clear segmentation supported by strong and targeted pre-event communication will help attendees plan their visit more efficiently.

The focused layout will encourage high-quality meetings, better time management, and more meaningful networking, ultimately leading to stronger business outcomes for both exhibitors and visitors.

What are the key benefits for exhibitors and visitors with this new format?

The new format offers several strategic advantages for both exhibitors and visitors:

Better Exhibitor Profiling: More targeted zones ensure your brand reaches the right audience, leading to meaningful business interactions.

Greater Flexibility in Stand Selection: Exhibitors have increased freedom to choose stands that best suit their needs.

More Productive Meetings: Focused event layouts and audience targeting lead to higher-quality networking and business opportunities.

How will this transition impact international visitors and exhibitors?

There will be no negative impact on international participation. Exhibitors will continue to showcase their offerings in their respective zones, something most international participants are already familiar with from global editions of the event.

International visitors can plan their visit based on their areas of interest, with the flexibility to attend one or both venues. With the event now spanning four days, it offers ample time to explore both CPHI and PMEC, ensuring a more comprehensive and rewarding experience aligned with the scale and significance of the show.

What marketing and promotional efforts will be made to ensure strong visitor turnout at both venues?

A segmented marketing approach will be implemented, targeting visitors based on the specific profiles of exhibitors at each venue. Each buyer category will receive tailored and clear communication highlighting the focus areas of CPHI and PMEC India, enabling them to make informed decisions aligned with their expertise and business needs.

This approach is expected to significantly enhance the quality of visitors and the value of meetings. This more focused approach will drive meaningful interactions and better business outcomes for both exhibitors and attendees.

Will my badge work for both events?

Yes, your badge will grant you access to both CPHI India at IICC, Dwarka and PMEC India at IEML, Greater Noida. You can seamlessly attend both shows with the same registration.

How can I register for CPHI and/or PMEC India 2026?

Registration will open six months prior to the event through a unified online portal. You can select your preferred event(s) during the process, and one badge grants access to both CPHI and PMEC India. We recommend registering early, as registration will become paid one month before the event, and early sign-up ensures timely updates on exclusive sessions and experiences.

Will there be recommended hotels or travel support for attendees?

Yes, a curated list of partner hotels near both venues will be available, offering special rates for attendees. We’ll also have dedicated travel partner to assist with airport transfers and local logistics. All details will be updated on our website and shared via email closer to the event.

Will the New Noida International Airport (Jewar) be operational during CPHI & PMEC India 2026?

Yes, the Noida International Airport will be fully operational, as it begins operations after July 2025.

Will there be transportation from Noida International Airport to IEML?

Yes, we will provide dedicated shuttle services between Noida International Airport and IEML for attendees' convenience.

How far is IEML from Yashobhoomi, and is there shuttle service available?

Are parking facilities available at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre?

Yes, ample parking facilities are available at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre (IICC), Dwarka.

Is parking available at IEML?

Yes, parking facilities are available at IEML, including the designated NASA Ground Parking area.
