Answers to some of the most common queries
Yes, CPHI & PMEC India is evolving into one super event divided over two venues to specialise in pharma ingredients and machinery. Though we are operating in two spaces simultaneously, we are still a united event at the heart of pharma.
CPHI India will take place from 23–25 November 2026 at IICC, Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi.
PMEC India will be held from 24–26 November 2026 at IEML, Greater Noida.
As the leading pharma event in the region, CPHI & PMEC India connects the very best minds in our industry with the innovators and decision makers redefining our future, but the success of this event means it has outgrown the largest venue available to host us. We've also consistently received valuable feedback from the industry on how to enhance the overall experience and increase participation value.
Some of the key concerns raised by exhibitors include:
- Limited flexibility in stand selection
- The event being too large to manage effectively within a three-day format
- Difficulty conducting quality meetings due to heavy footfall
- Missed business opportunities caused by scale and congestion
Not at all. CPHI & PMEC India continues to represent the entire pharmaceutical value chain. In fact, for the 2026 edition, there will be a two-day overlap to allow visitors to attend both venues and maximize value.
The scale that CPHI & PMEC India has reached makes it challenging to host the entire event at a single venue in India. Splitting into two focused locations allows for:
Better visitor experience with more space and improved navigation
Tailored engagement based on distinct buyer profiles for CPHI and PMEC
Higher quality meetings without the overwhelming rush
An extended experience, addressing the industry's long-standing request for more time beyond the current three-day format
This strategic move ensures that exhibitors and visitors get the best return on their time and efforts, while still maintaining the identity and strength of the unified platform.
The expanded four-day format across both venues provides exhibitors and attendees with an extended window for valuable business conversations, maximizing networking opportunities and meaningful interactions.
For attendees who do wish to explore both events, we will ensure seamless connectivity by providing regular shuttle services between the two venues across the overlapping days. This will help facilitate smooth movement and maximize the experience for cross-over visitors.
We generally do not recommend booking stands at both venues, unless you represent two distinct group companies with separate business profiles that align with the respective focus areas of CPHI and PMEC.
If the same exhibit is showcased at both locations, it may dilute its impact. Each event will have clear positioning and communication around exhibitor categories and visitor expectations, helping attendees navigate based on their specific interests.
To ensure maximum ROI and meaningful engagement, we strongly encourage you to select the venue that best aligns with your core business activity and target audience.
After evaluating multiple scenarios and consulting with various venue authorities, we finalized IICC (Yashobhoomi) and IEML as the venues for CPHI & PMEC India. These modern, purpose-built facilities meet the high standards required for an event of this scale and stature.

- Superior connectivity via metro, airport, and road networks
- Enhanced visitor experience with modern amenities

PMEC India at IEML Greater Noida (2026)
Venue Advantages:
- Specialized facilities for heavy machinery exhibitions
- Proven track record for industrial shows
- Improved logistics infrastructure and efficient layout
- Improving connectivity with upcoming Noida International Airport.
- Established ecosystem with familiar amenities for returning exhibitors
While both IICC and IEML are purpose-built exhibition venues, the decision is based on space availability and event scale.
PMEC is significantly larger in terms of volume compared to CPHI. Currently, IICC has only two operational halls, which are suitable for accommodating CPHI but not sufficient for PMEC’s scale. Hence, CPHI is scheduled at IICC, Dwarka, and PMEC at IEML, Greater Noida, which offers the required space and infrastructure for the larger format.
No, currently there are no venues in Mumbai that can accommodate the event. The scale and infrastructure requirements of both events exceed the capacity of existing venues in the city.

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to select their own stands directly via the platform and finalize contracts digitally, making the process more transparent, efficient, and user-friendly.

The event layout will be redesigned with clearly defined zones to enhance focus and ease of navigation.
CPHI India will feature zones for APIs, formulations, excipients, natural extracts, and fine chemicals.

With the distinct visitor profiles for each event, this clear segmentation supported by strong and targeted pre-event communication will help attendees plan their visit more efficiently.

International visitors can plan their visit based on their areas of interest, with the flexibility to attend one or both venues. With the event now spanning four days, it offers ample time to explore both CPHI and PMEC, ensuring a more comprehensive and rewarding experience aligned with the scale and significance of the show.
A segmented marketing approach will be implemented, targeting visitors based on the specific profiles of exhibitors at each venue.
