As of 8th January 2023, travellers can enter China without the need to quarantine, making it easier for exhibitors and visitors alike to attend Asia’s premier pharma event. Guests are asked only to test negative for COVID-19 48 hours before departure.
Chinese authorities have announced that they are working to facilitate visa applications for business travel. If you plan to apply for a non-immigrant visa to travel to the China as a temporary visitor, please review the current wait time. There are also reports that the number of international flights to China will be increased.
For more information, please check the official government website for the latest guidance.
International visitors might require a VISA to enter China. Don’t leave this too late – it takes time to arrange a visa. We can support your application by providing you a VISA invitation letter*
It takes 5-7 working days to issue an invitation letter for your visa application. You may still apply for an invitation letter if needed and if the time works for you before 19th May.
Alternatively, if you need to enter China for urgent matters, or it is too late to apply for a business visa at the Chinese embassy or visa application centre, you may apply for a port visa before and after arriving at certain China entry ports.
*To apply for a visa invitation letter a registration key is required which you will receive in your confirmation email after pre-registering to attend CPHI & PMEC China 2023. Haven’t pre-registered for the event yet? Register here today.
